Mineral Grinding Plant
The Garnet Royal mineral grinding plant reduces minerals to a controlled fine powder and delivers it classified, collected and ready for packing. Crushing, drying, grinding, classification and dust collection are engineered together so that the plant holds a consistent product fineness rather than simply grinding as hard as it can.
Fineness is set by classification, not by grinding time. Material that has reached size is separated and removed from the circuit, while coarse material returns to the mill. This protects throughput, avoids wasted grinding energy on already-fine product, and holds the particle size distribution steady across a shift.
Typical process flow
- Crushing — single or double toggle jaw crusher and roll crusher reduce mineral lumps to mill feed size.
- Drying — single or double shell rotary dryer removes surface moisture where the mineral requires it.
- Feeding — vibrating or screw feeder meters a steady charge into the mill.
- Grinding — ball mill, three roll mill or pulverizer selected on required fineness and mineral hardness.
- Classification — on-size product is separated and coarse material returns to the mill.
- Collection & packing — product is collected through a dust collection system and delivered to silo or bagging.

| Product fineness | Set by classification; up to 225 mesh B.S.S. |
| Grinding | Ball mill, three roll mill or pulverizer to suit hardness and fineness |
| Dust control | Integrated collection and bag filtration |
| Scope | Process design, manufacture, structures, erection, commissioning |
Share your mineral, its feed size and moisture, the fineness you need in mesh or micron, and target tonnage, and we will propose a grinding circuit and budget.
Why a plant, not just a mill
- Fineness held by classification, so product stays consistent shift to shift.
- Mill selected on mineral hardness and target mesh, not on a single default.
- Dust collection engineered in, protecting both product yield and the workplace.
- Crushing, drying, grinding and handling equipment all manufactured in-house.
- Single responsibility from process design to commissioning and spares.
Applications
- Industrial mineral powder production
- Ceramics & glass raw materials
- Paint, filler & polymer extenders
- Refractory & foundry materials
- Chemical & fertiliser processing
